Litte Organic Vegetable Garden - Stage 1

This morning, Phil and I visited the West Side markets, as well as the Northey Street City Organic Farm. We bought three organic seedlings from the nursery. Sweet Basil, Parsley, and Thyme.

We have been discussing our idea to grow some herbs and vegetables in the space behind the house. I like to eat organic foods, if I can, so together we decided to plant and maintain a small Organic Garden.

 This is sweet Basil.

This is Parsley.

Today is stage one of our vegetable garden. Phil mixed the soil and fertilizer (organic), and I planted the seedlings. It was very easy, but I could enjoy the experience. I feel these little plants are so full of life and fragile. I could feel a warmth within while I gently placed them and packed the soil around. I gave them fresh water, and my wish, for their healthy life, and welcomed them to our home.

And this little guy is Thyme.

I look forward to adopting more plants... It's a nice feeling, to take care of something that is alive.

Mr Kookaburra

I went to the Botanic Gardens yesterday. I saw the bench near the river where Aco and I rested after having lunch by the Brisbane River. That afternoon we shared the comfort of the good weather, good company, with a nice massage too :)
While I was walking around the park, this time by myself, I found a Kookaburra digging in the dry soil beneath a tree. He looked like he was enjoying himself. As I approached he didnt seem to mind, he continued digging, and once in a while paused to look at me, before sticking his beak in the dirt again. A nice bird, a nice day.

善哉善哉、あこ

Aco has done well, I'm proud of her.
Her tax investigation went well, without a big problem.
She has been so worried about this day, for a few months, now she can relax and rest.
Her hard work has brought a good result, I'm so glad.
Well Done!

Best Wishes

Today, Aco is having a tax investigation, and Phil is in the hospital.
Quite obviously, a tax investigation is never a good thing. No one enjoys being audited by the tax office, and no one enjoy being in hospitals, I think.
Poor Aco, she has worked so hard to get ready for this day. Last night she had one hour sleep before going back to the office to face-the-music. I am concerned about her. I wish that this day will pass with good results for Aco and for Phil. She deserves to have a good life a good business, without such obstacles. May Phil also come home without any illness, with a stronger constitution and better health.
My thoughts are with you both.

Flowers on my desk

I bought some beautiful flowers on my way back to the office after thursday class.

I can smell early spring flowers in my room at the office that is so sweet.

I need something nice and positive, to feel good "ki" energy, to help get ready for the investigation which is coming up next monday.

This will help and ease my worried nerves and thoughts, so that I can clear out negative energy, I hope.

Where's Mr. Koala?

Here is a Photo of Mr. Koala of Noosa. We found him sitting in a tree by the ocean as we were on our way back to the car. We had spent around 2.5 hours walking through the park, hoping we could see a wild Koala. We could enjoy the park, but it was a shame that Aco couldn't see a wild Koala. In the end, as we had almost given up looking for Koalas, we heard an interesting sound! It was Mr. Koala, he was calling (barking) for a mate. I heard him as we walked by, we were lucky to find him. At first it was hard to see him amongst the leaves and high branches.
I edited the photo to make the resolution a bit more clear, and emphasize the Koala's body, making it easier to distinguish him from the surrounding leaves. Have a look... if you cant find him in the first photo, the second one is edited again with a circle around him

Can you find Mr. Koala?

Breakfast Creek Hotel

We had a simple, expensive, but tasty meal

Aco and I had a nice night out near the city and Brisbane River at Breakfast Creek. Aco looked really beautiful, I was so proud :) After eating, we rode the City Cat Ferry down the Brisbane River and through the city. We could see the city lights, as we quietly drifting down the river.

We Stopped at South Bank, had a short walk, found a possum having dinner in a waste bin. He obviously didnt like to eat while being watched, so he quickly jumped into the small tree nearby, that's when I caught a photo of him.

Photos from GHM Lookouts

Glass House Mountains

The Glass House Mountains
We spent one day driving around the Glass House Mountain ranges. We climbed the path up to two lookouts, Mount Beerburrum, Wild Horse Mountain, and drove up to the GHM Tourist Lookout. It was a nice day, partly cloudy, no too hot, but I think Aco could feel the strength of the Australian sun even on such a cool and cloudy summer day. We were fortunate to have such mild weather for this time of year.
